This Oceanport, NJ , public school faced the challenge of having a limited budget for the required renovations. To avoid costly new construction, underpinning was chosen as a solution. The project required the installation of 83 helical underpinning piles to the interior of the elementary school.
Hale Built Group's skilled crews utilized the MT55 machine, enabling them to install the helical piles in low overhead areas. The team implemented careful saw cutting and chipping of footings to facilitate the underpinning process. With the use of underpinning brackets, the helical piles were securely attached to the footings, providing structural stability.
