New Girders & Helical Piles

This entire house was built and expanded using non-pressure-treated girder material. The engineer commented that he's never seen something so dangerous. The crew shored and leveled various home sections and replaced all girders, totaling over 900 ft. Several dozen joists, new sills, 48 helical piles (by handheld machine), and all new piers were added. This house is now level, secure, and floodproof.

The house exhibited unevenness, sagging floors, and compromised stability. Immediate action was required to address these critical structural issues.

The first step involved shoring and leveling various sections to stabilize the structure during the renovation process. All non-pressure-treated girders, spanning over 900 feet, were carefully replaced with structurally sound and code-compliant materials.

Additionally, several dozen joists and new sills were installed to ensure proper support and stability. To address the foundation issues, 48 helical piles were strategically placed using a handheld machine. These piles provided deep foundation support and enhanced the overall structural integrity of the house.
