The project in Cherry Hill involved a 20+ foot deep excavation and required a reliable retaining wall system to control soil movement. The general contractor meticulously located and exposed all utilities, preparing the groundwork for the project.
Hale Built Group installed over 34+/- helical pulldown micropiles and 6' steel-cased grout columns to support various utilities at different depths. Underpinning brackets reinforced the impacted structure, while soldier beams with steel angles secured timber lagging. The excavation progressed in phases, with lagging installation and timber tiebacks preventing lateral movement at each stage.
With the successful completion of each excavation phase, the lagging was securely fastened with timber tiebacks, resulting in a 20+ foot deep and secure excavation. Hale Built Group's collaboration with the general contractor ensured seamless progress and a stable structure.
