The small two-story home, situated by the waterfront, had an outdated and deteriorated flooring system. To address this issue and fulfill the homeowner's requirements, a decision was made to lift and relocate the house to a new site, where a new and improved flooring system would be installed.

The project began with the preparation phase, which included clearing the construction space and disconnecting all utilities and home functions. The home was then raised onto steel girders and wooden supports, allowing for the construction of a new flooring system. Throughout the process, meticulous attention was paid to maintaining structural integrity, considering the limited space available between two neighboring residences.

Upon completion of the new flooring system, the home was safely lowered onto it, ensuring a secure and stable foundation. Additionally, the timber piles that initially supported the home were disconnected during the relocation process and reattached afterward, providing further stability.
