Remediation Project in Toms River

In Toms River, NJ, Hale Built completed a foundation stabilization project that demonstrates our commitment to providing secure, long-lasting solutions. By installing helical piers, underpinning piers, tiebacks, and lagging, we ensured the building’s foundation is reinforced to withstand future demands and remain stable over time.

This Toms River property was facing significant foundation issues that put its structural safety at risk. With signs of instability and settling, the property owner reached out to Hale Built to evaluate the damage and design a comprehensive stabilization plan. After an in-depth assessment, our team determined that a targeted reinforcement strategy was needed to provide lasting stability.
Our crew began by driving eight soldier helical piers to a depth of 22 feet to provide foundational support. In addition, six underpinning piers were installed to reinforce critical areas and prevent further shifting. To address lateral forces, we installed six tiebacks, adding another layer of stability. Finally, lagging was placed to a depth of 13 feet, creating a protective barrier that secures the surrounding soil and supports the building’s foundation.
With all components installed, the Toms River building now has a significantly strengthened foundation built to endure the elements and provide long-term security. The helical piers, tiebacks, and lagging work together to enhance the structure’s stability and give the property owner peace of mind.
