This multi-hundred-ton 1890’s home was undergoing substantial renovation and expansion. The new owner wanted to expand nearly all interior door openings and add a wine cellar. The architect designed 27 new steel beams, including a 4th story ridge beam, which HBG installed with the GC over two months. Several floors were shored, and certain basement walls were relocated. Additionally, the porches had sunken, so the team shored and leveled the several hundred-ton homes, with the porches, to within ¼”. Multiple large beams were replaced during shoring.
