Coastal Home Stabilization with Magnum Moment Frame

In Brick, NJ, a coastal replica home faced foundation failure due to repeated tidal flooding and deteriorated timber piles. Our team engineered and installed a Magnum Moment Frame supported by a reinforced concrete grade beam and supplemental helical piles. This permanent solution restored stability while protecting the home against future tidal impacts.

The home’s timber piling foundation had been compromised by repeated high-tide flooding. Settlement and partial piling failure threatened the stability of the structure.
The team carefully elevated the home and constructed a reinforced concrete grade beam to support a new Magnum Moment Frame. Installation was staged around cribbing stacks and performed over several weeks, with additional helical piles added to strengthen the foundation.
The home now rests securely on a permanent steel frame foundation system, reinforced with helical piles. This solution ensures long-term stability against tidal conditions along the Barnegat Bay.
