Coastal Home Elevation with Deep Foundation

This Seaside Park, NJ home was elevated 11 feet above grade to improve protection against coastal flooding and storm surge while meeting strict code requirements. The project included the installation of a deep foundation system designed for long-term stability and resilience.

The home’s original elevation and foundation system did not provide adequate protection or structural capacity for coastal conditions and modern code standards.
Hale Built elevated the home 11 feet above grade and installed 25 SS5 piles driven 27 feet deep, achieving the required depth and load specifications to support a new, secure foundation.
With elevation and deep foundation work complete, the home is prepared to be lowered onto its new base—delivering enhanced flood resistance, structural strength, and long-term performance in a demanding coastal environment.
